Mobile Catering Locations in London - Retail agents, etc

Hi David,

Thank you for answering my previous question on catering insurance costs .

We are facing a hurdle in terms of getting the desired location for mobile catering. Could you possibly advise us on the locations in London where mobile catering is welcome (in terms of space and demand). We are particularly interested in Central and South-East London. This is because we want the first shop to be near our homes to have better connectivity and monitoring.

Hi Rohit,

There is no easy answer to this question, but have you tried retail concession, as they sometimes have catering pitches available within the London areas? As a matter of fact there was a position available on a BBQ in Beckton (East London, contact Retail Concession for more info)

Also Search Ebay for - catering trailer pitch, catering pitch as there is a selection of people selling catering pitches frequently. Any other business publications can also be a good source of : people either selling pitches or trailer and pitches e.g Daltons, Loot

Check on Private and council owned Industrial Estates to see if any opportunity exists for you Apart from that it's down to you to keep looking, get creative and start making your own luck. It seems that you have come quite far with you business, so keep going until you get what you want.

As it's only a matter of time.
