Lunch Time Specials - What Different Menu Choices Can I Offer

by sanya

I have just opened my catering van and was wondering what kind of specials should I sell? I am selling all the usual things like burgers, hotdogs, morning rolls etc.

But I really need different ideas for lunchtimes other than the norm.

Lunch Time Specials

Why not try and introduce a meal deal option like they do at most takeaway places. Have a healthy option like a roll, baguette or bap with either: cheese, ham, salad or jacket potatoes with a drink/water and a fruit, banana, apples for dessert.

Also have a not so healthy option, double cheese burger, hot dog etc with a drink, and/or crisps, chocolate, cake or muffin. This could be offered between 12-2pm or whatever time is suitable to you.

Also print out a few menus on your computer, hand them out with a mobile number so that you can take orders

Try and place yourself in the mind of you customer, what would they like as a special? It needs to taste good, competitively priced while also making your business a profit.

Every catering trailer customer base is different and it’s a matter of finding out what your customers will want to eat.

Best of luck
