It Stemmed From The V Festival

by Sadie

Hi,I' m really keen to get into doing what you have been doing!

It stemmed from going to V Festival last year and seeing the amount of people buying food and at such an overcharged price (due to it being the only food available!).

I know these are one off festivals but I really do want to buy a van. My only concern is the trading licenses and how you get this.

Also do you know how you go about getting permission to trade at festivals, shows etc?

I'm guessing you probably have to pay quite a bit to pitch up. Any help will be very useful. I have read your story.

Well done to you for doing it! I'm already looking on Ebay for vans! Thanks, Sadie.

Festival Fees Are Expensive
by: Anonymous

Hi Sadie,

You can definitely make a lot of money catering for festivals and the high prices charged for food probably reflects the price paid for the pitch which can run into the thousands. As for a license you will have to check with each individual council (environmental health) for the area that you are trading in to find out what their requirements are.

You can try eventsbook.co.uk for more information on festivals and events.I hope this is of help to you Sadie, best of luck to you.

Regards

David
