How much is a traders licence and do you need one for each county as I live on the boarder of Lichfield and Stafford and want to cover both areas?

When you register you food business you need only register one address with the local council of where you reside.

Once you have resisted with the local council you are free to trade in other areas. The price to register varies from £400 per year upwards; some readers have informed me that they have been asked to pay as much as £1500 a year.

So contact your local council for a more accurate price.
