No Qualifications Needed to Start Mobile Catering by: David
Hi Jenna,
You don?t need any qualifications to start up in mobile catering, but you will need an up to date food and hygiene certificate to show that you are competent in preparing and cooking food safely.
There are many courses which are available through your local college/council which should cost no more that £50.Or if you wish you can take the food and hygiene course online if it?s more convenient for you.
As for getting a pitch, it?s not as simple as just parking up and trading. You will need to get the permission of the landlord to trade on any land. If you don?t you will probably get moved on which is not the best option, especially if you have built up some regular customers.
