Where Can I Find Fish and Chip Vans / Trailers to Hire commercially

Hi all

I am thinking for starting a mobile catering business, specifically a fish and chip van. I have a catering background but cannot find out anywhere you can hire a fish and chip van.

I am not sure if I want to invest in buying one at this stage.

Any advice greatly recieved.

Hi Gavin

It may a problem renting a fish and chip van as their simply does not seem to be many about. You may have better success with a catering trailer as many places rent catering trailer out.

I don?t know if they rent specific trailers that can cook fish and chips or if the rented trailer comes with standard equipment e.g. griddle, water boiler, chip fryer. This is something you may have to pay extra for and agree to a minimum rental period for them to install.

I understand that at this early stage you don't necessarily want to buy a fish and chip food trailer out right, renting would be the better option. Have you tried Excel Trailers they have a choice of trailer for rent.
