Tachograph for Mobile Catering Trailer

Hi

I am looking to buy a catering trailer soon and was wondering would i need a tachograph fitted to my van to tow the trailer?

Hello Chris,

If you catering trailer has a gross weight of over 3.5 tonnes then you will need to use a tachograph, but since most trailers don't weigh that much you should not have a problem.Just make sure the weight does not exceed 3.5 tonnes.
