Not sure how old this post is.

If you want a quote for a converted container catering unit please feel free to email me your requirements.
All specifications accommodated at a reasonably realistic cost.

Shipping Container For Mobile Catering
by: David

Hi Jim,

I’m not sure if this is the best way forward, even though there are companies that offer this service, you will lose the "mobile part" of mobile catering. You will also be limited to staying in the same pitch and unable to attend other events throughout the year, unless you use the services of a crane mounted vehicle.

I suppose this won’t matter if you intend to have it located on a static site.

You can pick up a container cheap enough for around the £1000 pound mark, but you still have to consider equipment installation, griddle, fridge/freezer, piping, etc and make sure it meets the operating standards. So I’m not sure how viable this option will be for you.

Anyway, I had a quick look and found these 2 website that may prove helpful to you.

www.sjonescontainers.co.uk
www.bullmans.co.uk

Best of luck and let us know how it goes.

Regards,
David
