Saturday Morning Sandwich Stall

by Tony

Hi,

I would like to know if any permission must be given to site a non permanent bacon sandwich stall on my company’s car park on a Saturday morning. We are a privately owned company and all the property is owned by ourselves,

Regards Tony

Bacon Stall on Private Land
by: David

Hi Tony,

As far as I am aware if you are the site owners – landlords, and someone is asking you for permission to trade on your land.

You will need to give them written permission to trade so that they can show this to their local council as well as in some cases planning permission to confirm that the land has the appropriate and lawful use to allow whoever to trade on (if it’s you that wants to trade the same rules apply).

It's worth contacting or have the person who wants to operate the bacon stall to contact the local council to confirm this as it may be a little different if it’s just a stall and not a catering trailer.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
David
