LPG Installation and Certificate

Hi there,

I'm currently part way into a catering trailer refurbishment. I'm a total novice and although I can manage most of the work myself, I'm struggling to find and LPG Engineer to install the pipework for my cooking equipment of which there are 4 items.
I live in the Oldham area and I'm struggling to find one that is willing to come and give me a quote, never mind get started.

The trailer doesn't currently have a handbrake so subsequently unable to safely tow it somewhere.

I'd also like to ask if it is possible for a trailer mechanic to fit a handbrake AT the trailer which is in Chadderton close to Featherstall Road??

Can anybody help, please?

I appreciate it can be difficult to find a specialist engineer locally. You should search the Gas Safe register for an engineer local to you. The engineer should be qualified to work on commercial mobile catering. Check the id or gas safe number against the Gas Safe Register to make sure

Failing that, we partner with qualified LPG engineers from around the country who will make a site visit and perform appliance checks, test, repairs, pipework and more.
