Hot Food Van in the West End at Night.

What will prevent me starting up a gourmet burger/food van to cater to the various west end clubs in london at night.

I don't see them, are there too many restrictions.
I want to move from club to club, and not have a permanent pitch.

Mobile Catering Central London

Hi Gary,

I don’t think it’s a case of turning up and trading outside a range of clubs in central London, unless you can find a club that has some private land for you to park up on, and you get their permission.

Most clubs don’t have land or parking space, since this is such a premium in central London. Also, you will have a lot of competition as there is an abundant supply of take-aways, restaurants and cafes to choose from.

Parking and trading will be difficult since, they have already cracked down on the many hot dog vendors for illegal trading.

You should however contact the local council (City of Westminster) who will advice you appropriately. Also, you will need a licence if you intend to trade after 11pm.
You will fare much better if you find a club outside London and offer the same service.

Best of luck,

David.
