Hire a Catering Van

I would like to start my business and test the market by hiring a catering van first. I note that trailers are easy to find and to hire but do you know from where i might hire a catering van?

Hello There,

Just to let you know that it’s going to be very difficult to find a business to rent out a catering van, simply because they are more expensive to rent out compared to a catering trailer.

Not to mention wear and tear, tyres, brakes, mot, tax etc, and catering vans are more likely to be stolen. Some pitches/event organisers don’t accept a catering van on site. This is because of the combination of both LPG and Petrol/Diesel engines.

So to be on the safe site I advise that you either hire a catering trailer. This will ensure that at the very least you won’t be turned away from any possible catering events.

If you are still stuck on renting a catering van, you might have to buy it yourself, unless you can find someone to rent one out to you.
