Mobile Catering Genrator Size
by: David-

Hello Mark,

The size of the generator will depend on the power usage (running wattage of each electrical appliance). It would be good to get a slightly larger capacity than required if you plan to add more equipment in the future or if another fridge is required during the summer months/larger catering events.

You may also need a sturdy chain to attach the generator to your vehicle to deter thieves when busy trading. Unfortunately, a few traders have had their generator stolen during business hours.

Choose LPG Generator

Generators have ground contamination issues when run on petrol/diesel, most events require LPG gas-fuelled generators. Useless you have access to a mains hook up gas will is the preferred and least costly option.

You can use this link to help understand which generator size will best for your business. I'm guessing a 3500Kva should be sufficient by double check.

You may want also want to browse a range LPG dual fuel generators here.

Best of luck and keep us updated.
