Gas Safe Certificate For A Generator?

by Oliver

Hi there I'm new to the whole trailer side of the industry and just wanted to try and clarify something I can't seem to find the answer to online. (Some of the links on here lead to bad internet gateways and will not load). I've changed my original concept from a catering trailer doing food to different variations of drinks trailers however I will still need a Generator for menial power and have settled on a Greengear LPG Generator. I want to know if I need a Gas Safe Certificate for my LPG Generator as I'm assuming it is classed as Gas using Equipment. I may be entirely wrong and hope someone can shed some light on the subject for me!

Thanks in advance,

Greengear Generator

Hi Oliver,

To answer your question, you will need to have a Gas Safety certificate for the LPG Generator if you intend to trade legally. Event organiser, local authorities and any landowner will ask for them.

Greengear is becoming a popular choice for mobile caterers since its range of dedicated LPG generators are economical and free from soil and ground contamination which is a must if you intend to cater for ongoing events.

You can view the Greengear 3000kw LPG generator a popular choice for mobile catering .
