Food Storage and Rubbish Waste - Mobile Catering

Hi this is great site and I have learnt alot.

Just wanted to know more about refuge and where to put it! would it have to be taken home? Also stock storage, i was thinking of using a large chest freezer in my brick shed at home, will there be regulations to do this?

Mobile Catering Rubbish Disposal
by: David

Any rubbish accumulated by you should be placed in your trailer bin and taken home by you unless the site you are working on has access to commercial rubbish bins.

I would also advise that you get a separate rubbish bin for you customers to use and place outside your catering trailer.

With regards to storing food at home in your shed, you can do this but must inform the council who will inspect your premises.Again contact your local council to see what other requirements need to be met.

Best of luck
David
