Catering Van Or Trailer For Catering Business

Hi I Would Like To Start A Catering Business. But unsure whether to buy catering van or trailer.

I find the vans are quite expensive and also at certain stage you would have to sell the van. So money could be lost there. However if I get a trailer you would need a van to tow it.

Hello,

From my own experience it’s better to get a catering trailer but you will still need another vehicle to tow it around. These are generally accepted on more catering pitches and events than a catering van. This is because it’s considered safer because the trailer does not contain any engine or fuel tanks.
